Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the merchandising team of this fast moving fashion and luxury goods retailer. You will be involved in crucial commercial decisions relating to your product category, including deciding how many different product lines should be bought and in what quantity, setting selling prices to regulate profit and deciding when the stocks should be delivered into the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:
? Analysing data for weekly reviews of sales
? Allocating stock to the stores
? Managing suppliers, in order to ensure accurate stock deliveries
? Assisting with the complex logistics involved in monitoring stock coming from several suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly analytical and numerical, with an eye for detail, good communication skills and excellent problem solving capabilities. You will be a graduate, ideally with a business, maths, economics or other numerical based degree. Previous store based retail experience is essential and any experience within merchandising or allocating would be highly beneficial.
