Description

Our Client is a leading retailer and require an experienced IT and Telecoms Buyer to join their UK purchasing team.

Principally supporting the project managers in the Change Team, the successful candidate will lead all negotiations with external IT suppliers to ensure products and services are effectively sourced at optimum cost, minimum risk and in accordance with the requirements of the change plan.

Ideally candidates will have the following skills and experience:

*Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

*Corporate purchasing experience with some time spent in an IT procurement role.

*Recent experience in the procurement of data networks, software licensing, client hardware and POS systems would be an advantage.

*Strong contract negotiation skills
