German speaking Export Sales Coordinator

The Company:

Our client, a leader in fabric design is currently recruiting for a German speaking Export Sales Coordinator (preferably with Spanish or Russian as additional languages) to support the Export Manager. The offices are based in London.

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to liaise with internal as well external customers and clients on a daily basis taking telephone bookings and informing them of shipment status.

You will be:

- Dealing with all aspects of Export Procedures and associated Administration
- Liaising with Shipping Lines, and overseas Stations.
- Inputting data into IT systems.
- Maintaining systems and processes and to provide good customer service.
- Acting as the first point of contact for shippers, hauliers etc., and the client

Candidate Profile:

You are likely to be fluent to mother tongue level in German and English and preferably speak Spanish or Russian too. 1-2 years experience in an export environment is essential as you will be working closely with the Export Manager supporting her in her day-to-day duties. The ability to work under pressure is important and so are excellent customer service skills. IT skills especially in Word and Excel are fundamental.

The client is looking for a person who fits into the team, is motivated and has a positive attitude.

Salary/Additional Information:

The salary for this position is up to £25,000 depending on skills and experience.
