Mechanical Production engineer

Description

My client is seeking a maintenance engineer to take care of the mechanical, electrical and electronic systems employed within the Refining, Packing, Utilities and Jetty sections of there east London refinery.

The ideal candidate will preferably have a HNC/NVQ in an engineering discipline, at least BTEC/ONC in relevant discipline with comparable experience of maintenance within an automated continuous process environment, which includes PLC and HT systems.

Must be self motivated with desire for continual personal development, with excellent interpersonal & communication skills, experience of Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes, able to demonstrate an ability for problem solving and providing long term solutions, multi-skilled across a range of engineering trades, have knowledge of Health, Safety & environmental systems & procedures, and experience of planning and organising engineering tasks often involving contractor resources.
