Our client, part of one of the world's largest retail groups, is looking for talented managers to join their hugely successful organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business, being 2nd in command in a store with a turnover in excess of £50 million.

Operating on such a large scale means that each store has lots of autonomy, and you will need the strategic and commercial know how to work under your own initiative. The company is growing rapidly, and you will need to be able to display the potential to be promoted to a Store Manager position within as short a time as possible. The environment is very fast paced, with a high turnover, so decisions need to be made quickly. This makes for a challenging, but above all truly rewarding working environment.

As a Assistant General Manager you will assist the Store Manager in all aspects of running the store. You will have large duty manager responsibilities need to be able to display the ability to run your own store within a short space of time.

Successful candidates must have a strong technical knowledge of fresh food and previous experience of managing in a high turnover supermarket retail environment.
