Divisional Manager - South

Description

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's best known retailers as the driving force behind a new concept roll-out. Reporting into the Operations Director, you will have full accountability for the division as the large-format store numbers increase ten-fold over the next 2 years. You will grow and lead a team of senior retailers managing units that each gross more than £20m per year in revenue; your challenge will be managing a workload that simultaneously includes new store project management & strategic performance review.

You must have a senior blue chip background and ideally have experience of new store openings and-or project management. The expansion is planned at an aggressive rate and it is critical that you have the potential to go on and develop your own role within the function. You will have experience of big box retail within either food or non-food, you will be comfortable working within a director level peer group and ideally be educated to degree level.
