Description
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and adaptable electrical installation engineers who are looking to move into the HVAC building services maintenance sector and have gained or recently passed their City and Guilds 236 parts 1 and 2 (or equivalent) 16th edition and city and guild 2391 test and inspection certificate (not essential) however are fed up with working within the installation sector and want to change career path.
Many of our clients have been exploring the options of enrolling electrical engineers to join existing days, split days or 12 hour shift teams where they will be on the job trained and in time put through a variety of courses where they will start to learn about routine and planned maintenance schedules within commercial and critical services environments.
The candidate should expect to be exposed to a variety of electrical and HVAC systems within some of the most prestigious environments where they will join large to medium sized on site maintenance teams and be taught in how to carry out maintenance procedure on single and 3 phase power and lighting, state of the art digital lighting systems ,emergency lighting systems ,fault finding on distribution systems, fire alarm and access controls , motors, star delta starters, low and High voltage power systems , standby generators maintenance and checks , UPS power back up systems, and all first line and emergency repair to air conditioning and heating systems.
The roles will vary and so will the benefits and salaries , however if you are looking for that first step or forward thinking move towards a new career and have the right attitude to match then we will try and help to present you to our clients .
Current salaries on offer vary depending on experience and company, however on average you should expect an OTE of £28,000 to £30,000 plus paid holiday 20 to 25 days or 17 to 20 shift hol and benefits, training and investment in your future and sick pay and health care.
