Description
Oversee all digital activities in EMEA for a major entertainment company, this role will encourage the successful candidate to increase digital business.
This includes managing all existing EMEA digital processes and sales initiatives, alongside looking for new opportunities to increase digital sales.
Key elements and required results of the role are -
- Prioritising titles, advising availability, communicating rights
- Co-ordination of production and delivery of mastertones
- Approving content, promotions

- Coordinating content, pushing for promotions
- Development of master content, landing pages
- Development of mailout content with other music labels
- Co-ordination of consumer mailouts - timing, segmentation etc
- Account management with entertainment on UK and other local territories rollout music pages
- Scheduling and planning content and page placements on a weekly basis
- Co-ordination of assets - delivery, rights, copy on a weekly basis
- Secure front page placements as often as possible
- Liaison with iTunes UK and iTunes Europe (production and label relations teams), Burbank (D. Abdo's team)
- Scheduling product releases with above.
- Co-ordinating and pushing for featured content with iTunes UK and EU.
- Ensuring correct authorisations are featured on our products and corrections are made
- Cutting new deals with digital partners where targetted
Suitable candidates will demonstrate the following experiance and skills -
- Degree or equivalent in a Business, Marketing, Creative focussed discipline
- CIM or other relevant Digital/Marketing/Sales/Licensing qualification
- Demonstrable music industry experience acquired by having worked for major music companies or music labels
- Genuine digital marketing experience at manager level within a similar industry
- Proven experience of driving projects/campaigns from beginning to end
- Experience of budget management
- General understanding of overall media industry
- Evidence of effective stakeholder management
- Experience of working in a matrix/cross cultural/media organisation preferred
- Great understanding of the full marketing mix
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: written/verbal
- Strong organisational skills
- Capability to leverage opportunities through effective relationship management: internally/externally
- Ability to influence key stakeholders
- Creative / innovative
- Passion for Music and the Entertainment Industry especially the digital channels
- Assertive to bring forward challenges and new ideas
- Champion of change / flexibility to adapt to change
