The Company:

Our client, an international company is currently recruiting for an Italian speaker with fluent English to join their Technical Support department based in Berkshire.

The Role:

This role involves the provision of first class customer service and technical support to customers. You will have to deal with customer queries immediately and accurately making sure you respond within an appropriate timeframe to enquiries received by E-mail or fax. In addition you will have to advise customers on products as well as solving any problems that arise in relation to them. Issues which cannot be handled by the customer service team must be escalated to the appropriate person or department.

Candidate Profile:

You must be fluent in Italian along with excellent English and you must be able to communicate verbally and written in these languages. Furthermore you will have to deal with customer issues in a sensitive and emphasising way. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills are fundamental as you have to unambiguously explain to customers what the next steps are in order to solve the problem. A basic knowledge of PCs, LANs and WANs is essential and so is basic programming experience in C++ or Visual Basic.

In addition you have to be a self-starter, quick learner and have an enthusiastic and motivated personality.

Salary/Additional Information:

The salary for this position is up to £25,000 pa depending on experience and skills. Other benefits include 6% pension, private medical insurance, 23 holidays, Group life cover and permanent health insurance.
