New Business Officer

Description

We have a great role for a New Business Officer to coordinate and complete tenders for new contracts. This job is working for a Housing Association based in North London and it starts on the 19th May 2008. The role is a 6 month fixed term contract (with possible extension)

As a New Business Officer you will have the ability to juggle a wide range of tasks, you will write comprehensive tenders to ensure the Housing Association continues to enjoy repeat business and organisational growth. You will be involved in researching their existing and potential markets; making cases to senior managers and the Board for potential new business opportunities. You will be required to produce a range of high quality external documents for marketing purposes, as well as promoting the organisation externally at conferences and forums.

You will meet the following criteria:
¡õExcellent understanding of the Housing Association markets, including the Supported Housing, Health & Social Care and (desirable) Criminal Justice sectors
¡õA successful track record in tendering for and winning statutory contracts
¡õAbility to manage a heavy workload and meet strict deadlines
¡õExcellent written English, numeracy and presentation skills
¡õExperience of carrying out research and analysis
