Senior Assistant Merchandiser (International) - Girlswear

Description

Due to their continued growth and success, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Senior Assistant Merchandiser to join this market leading global retailer to work in their girlswear division.

These are newly created roles and require candidates with strong levels of business acumen and a drive and passion to add value to a growing department. You will be working within the childrenswear department and your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the trading and identifying key opportunities to grow sales and profitability within the department. This will involve forecasting sales and stock and effectively managing the department OTB.
- Regularly produce relevant analysis for the department e.g. average selling price information, intake margin.
- Managing a Trainee Assistant Merchandiser working with suppliers and driving solutions around any potential problems.
- To range build, ensuring the correct distribution of available stock and to attend sign-off meetings.

The ideal candidate will have previous fashion merchandising experience from another large retailer and will demonstrate good attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity to progress within a market leading retailer within an exciting new role.
