Maintenance Electrician

Description

Our client has a vacancy for a Maintenance Electrician within the AD&N Division and
based at AWE Burghfield, although the role may include working at Aldermaston.
Objective:
To carry out electrical maintenance / installation and testing and to support the electrical supervisor so that the contractual requirements are met.
Duties Include:
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
To work on new electrical installations
To complete the relevant documentation
Obtaining material quotations from suppliers
To electrically test, fault find and repair as required
Other duties on occasions will include but not be limited to pat testing
To work along side subcontractors if required.
Minimum Requirements
Good electrical knowledge
Must be self motivated, approachable and willing to work as part of a team
Must have good customer relations
Must be IEE 16th edition
Must have city and guilds 236 parts 1 & 2
Must have electrical test and inspection 2391
Must have current driving licence
Must be prepared to undergo training and required by the client
The individual must be capable of obtaining DV level security clearance.
Current and valid driving licence.

The individual must be capable of obtaining and be willing to undergo DV level security clearance.
This role will require the candidate to occasionally access high-security, explosive, Beryllium and
radiological working areas.
Salary: £24K, van (to use on site), 25 days of holidays
