Position: Internal Sales
Basic Salary; £30-40 K
1st Year OTE; £70 uncapped
Location; Central London
Company: Event Sales

My client is a conference company with a difference, based in the City. Established in 2005, they had revenue of 2 million pounds in 2007 and this event sales company aim to host 21 events in 2008. This year is all about growing the company internally adding to the current sales team of 3. This is an ideal role for an ambitious self-starting internal salesperson keen to be part of this fast growing company. This highly dynamic international conference company chooses research driven topical subjects for its' conferences in a variety of industry sectors including carbon management, nuclear power, alternative energy, transport, water and government.

The role for the successful internal sales candidate is largely telephone based with face-to-face aspects and future potential for international travel. This event sales role is consultative and every phone call is important. The successful internal sales person will benefit from great structured training from a young motivated, enthusiastic management, and great salary opportunities. The event sales role will also incorporate lead generation, sales lead qualification, development of content focused sales pitches, development of commercial strategy on each event, business development, and closing deals.

The internal sales person required for this role is a good sales person that views sales as a long-term career. The successful event sales candidate does not need event sales experience but must have a good background as a proven salesperson with a good education. The internal sales person must an intelligent self-starter who is prepared to use their strong analytical and entrepreneurial skills to sell the exhibition opportunities.
