The Company:
Our client, a global company in technology sector is looking for a customer service representative to join their contact centre in Manchester.

The Role
To develop and maintain strong working partnerships with all customers (internal & external) and to proactively manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the supply chain, to provide world-class customer service and support for the business in the achievement of its goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- To maintain and proactively improve contact with customers through appropriate means to satisfy their service requirements.
- To proactively manage all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner using initiative, influence and problem solving skills in order to ensure their delivery requirements are met.
- The professional and timely handling of all complaints and adjustments, including the initiation of route cause analysis and corrective action.
- Independent, proactive communication to fulfill customer needs
- Seek out ways to reduce non-value added activity and process improvement
- Involvement in training
- Support for assigned sales & key account contacts in the field to help the business in the achievement of its goals and objectives.

Qualifications
Minimum Degree Level or equivalent - essential

Candidate profile:
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong project management skills
- Good business acumen
- Good analytical ability
- Excellent Telephone skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage high volume of work load and manage priorities.
- Able to identify and deliver new processes to support the achievement of key logistics targets.
- Good knowledge of customer service principles / inventory control / demand planning.
- Good PC skills - Highly competent in Microsoft Excel

Experience
- Proven customer service and logistics experience within a commercial environment.
- Proven experience in Key Account Management.
- Experience in managing electronically placed orders
- Experience in managing own personal development.

Salary/Additional Information:
Up to £9.00 per hour
