Resident Combustion Engineer £35k to £40k

Are you a boiler engineer fed up with driving around London?? Are you tied of the hassles of finding parking and being chased from pillar to post?? Would you be interested in joining one of the largest resident maintenance contracts in the London Region. We have recently been requested to secure key members of staff for one of London's leading and most prestigious Department stores.

This position in my mind is perfect for a Combustion Engineer who is looking to come off the road but still be part of the one of the biggest Retail maintenance contracts within the UK. The company are scheduled to carryout a massive refurbishment over the next 7 years and to this note the client is looking for presentable and articulate candidates that want to grow within an organisation and be part of putting in place new procedures and SLAâ??s that will allow the contract to be delivered to the highest possible standard.

Successful candidates should come from an engineering background and that can be productions, manufacturing, Marine, Forces or industrial. Due to the nature of the client, job and the site the candidates must be all rounderâ??s with the right attitude, work hard play hard. The position will be a developing role where the candidates will have a training structure and career path individually planned to be able to move onwards and upwards after they have shown initiative and drive and also worked in this very client facing role.

The role will consists of carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance to Commercial and industrial boilers, MTHW, HTHW, LPHW plant, pipework, pressurisation units and basically take responsibility for these systems. The candidates should have current or past GAS ACS Certification as the company are willing to re-new these qualifications for the right candidate

Candidates need to be customer friendly as they will spend loads of time in front of and around the clientâ??s staff......
