Description

Our client currently has a new opportunity for a Commercial Mobile Service and Maintenance Engineer with an Air Conditioning bias.

They are a professional & established commercial building services contractor, providing services to customers in the Commercial, Leisure, Healthcare, Entertainment, Education, Hospitality and IT sectors.

The position will involve reactive and planned maintenance, primarily on HVAC systems associated with a building services environment. The company's customer base is mainly focused within the M25, London and the South-East.

Ideally you will be a competent engineer with a sound knowledge of all types of commercial air conditioning plant including Chillers, VRV and VRF systems and associated equipment, and also hold a knowledge of heating and ventilation systems generally, within a building services environment. Knowledge of associated electrical and controls with the ability to troubleshoot the whole system will be a prerequisite to the role.

Rate: £26 to £ 32 K (permanent) plus overtime, van for business use, mobile phone, health insurance.
22 days paid holiday per year in addition to the UK Bank Holidays.
Standby (current 1 week in 6) additionally paid at £87.50 per week plus relevant overtime rates for site attendance.

Minimum Key Requirements:-

Sound technical background, with relevant experience and qualifications.
Good team player / member.
Good communicator - written / verbal.
Good client facing skills.
Understanding of need to meet clients' expectations.
A full UK driver's licence is essential due to the nature of this role.
Flexible approach to work and duties.
Self motivation and ability to work to deadlines.
Attention to detail and ownership of all relevant problems.

This is a mobile role visiting all sites within our portfolio to cover reactive and planned maintenance and small works installations.
