Human Resources Manager

Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very high profile professional and educational Organsiation in Central London.
The role is suited to someone who is 'exceptional'in their experience in HR and wants to work in a small team whilst liasing with
Department Heads and reporting to the Cheif Executive as appropriate.

You would be responsible for and co-ordinate all strategic and practical human resources work so although you would
be dealing with highly qualified professionals you would also be requried to carry out more administrative duties.

The role has been trimmed back down to purely HR however history has show great opportunity for growth and personal development
within the organisations Executive Structure.


Manage and develop the Orgainsatons HR Policies and Procedure ensuring best practice
Manage all Recruitment activity
Staff appraisal system developement and maintenance
Co-ordinate all staff training, developing and delivering training programmes within capability
Manage staff welfare issues
Manage all disciplinary and grievance matters
Co-ordinate the annual staff salary review
Manage staff pension arrangements
Undertake any other duties related to the job purpose, as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

Good first degree
MCIPD or FCIPD
Proven breadth of human resources experience
Proven knowledge of employment legislation and its applications
Proven experience of both human resources strategy and practical day-to-day human resources management
Proven ability to motivate and lead by example
Proven ability to make reasoned arguments and provide evidence to support these
Proven ability to consult, negotiate and influence
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Robust, resilient yet flexible approach
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Willingness and ability to undertake own administration
