Quality & Compliance Manager, Lancashire

Quality & Compliance Manager: My client is a leading provider of development, manufacturing and packaging services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. They are currently looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager for their site in Lancashire.

The role involves:
+ QP release of IMPs
+ involvement in commercial QP release
+ extensive involvement in the management of the company's Quality Systems
+ training and mentoring of staff
+ a small amount of auditing responsibility
+ leadership responsibility for the QA group, which numbers around 9 people
+ involvement in strategy groups for the company

To be considered for this challenging and varied role, you must have the following skills/qualifications:
+ extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry, in a QA (Quality Assurance) GMP function
+ registered Qualified Person for IMPs; ideally for commercial release as well
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
+ ideally experience in a QA (Quality Assurance) management function
+ strong, proven managerial experience
