Description

My client is a leading Engineering organisation supporting the infrastructure of London Underground facilities. They are looking to recruit a Project Document Controller to join them in Neasdon.


Role outline:
To be the focal point for the orderly management and control of all documents, data & information created or received within the Programme assigned to.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that all documentation within the assigned project or programme area is stored and managed according to the relevant Metronet procedures and work instructions (currently MR-Pr-21029 & MR-WI-21073).
Ensure that all personnel within the assigned project or programme are familiar with the relevant document management procedures and use the Livelink application correctly.
Provide Livelink 'super user' support to the assigned project or programme personnel.
Using BuildOnline, accurately respond to requests for project information throughout the Shareholder Supply Chain.
Monitor the delivery of control documents by projects for quality and timeliness and report on exceptions.
Comply with instructions about legal, regulatory, contract and business requirements.
Act as section focal point for document control activities.

Required skills/experience/qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in a Document Control field preferably gained within the Rail industry.
Familiar with collaboration tools preferably Build Online.
Familiar with Document Management tools preferably Livelink
Familiar with data mapping processes and workflows in a variety of work areas
A methodical and analytical approach to work, persistent nature and integrity for maintaining comprehensive and accurate data
