Catalogue Production/PR Assistant

Description

My client , a rapidly growing ethical clothing brand is looking for a Catalogue Production/PR Assistant, this is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to build a career in marketing or publishing.

You will have proven experience in print production in a mail order or publishing company, or print production in a design or advertising agency, along with excellent organisational skills.

Day to day duties will include:

Proofreading the catalogue and co-ordinating proofreading by other members of staff
Assisting with logistics of photo shoots; arranging model castings, travel and accommodation bookings-assisting with the co-ordination of collections and location research
Assembling and organising images for publications
Collecting, chasing and preparing samples for shoots
Assisting at product shoots
Helping to write and edit text for the catalogue and other promotional materials
Inputting into and assisting with the pagination and layout of the catalogue
Collating images and information for the catalogue during the 'rough stage'
Liasing with suppliers; print, repro, design, mailing houses
Managing small print projects under the supervision of the catalogue manager
Assisting the catalogue manager with preparation for the repro stage
