Description

The EMEA Operations Risk and Control team forms part of EMEA GMIS Operations. The group is responsible for;

Providing quality assurance around operations key control processes.

Providing an independent assessment of control and risk issues for senior management.

Providing golden source risk MIS.

Working with operations line management to strengthen the control environment and improve control processes.

This role falls within the Quality and Assurance team which is responsible for providing quality assurance around operations key control processes including but not limited to balance sheet substantiation, sox controls, new product reviews.

This team is also responsible for the business continuity management coordination for GMIS operations.

Key responsibilities include;

Design and implementation of transaction reporting governance framework including testing requirements, new products/change coordination, new regulations coordination.

Establish processes for ongoing monitoring of any regulatory requirements from the US applicable to EMEA processes e.g. 15c3-3.

Interface with external and internal auditors.

Preparation for any regulatory visits, reports or presentations.

Establish regulatory training library in liaison with LTM.
