Job Description



Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions' London Centre would like to hire an enthusiastic, dynamic and imaginative individual with marketing experience to manage its medical exam preparation programmes. The successful candidate will be able to drive growth and create innovative marketing strategies to maximise revenues and increase market share for Kaplan's preparation courses. Marketing work experience is essential, as is the ability to liaise with a wide range of people. The role encompasses marketing, sales and customer service and the Marketing Manager must be willing to learn about all aspects of their products and markets and take responsibility for meeting revenue goals.



Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions is the leading provider of test preparation courses and tutoring for UK and US university admissions tests and US professional licensure exams in the United States and the United Kingdom. Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include:

Market research to identify appropriate target audiences and create new sales opportunities.
Lead marketing information seminars and meet one-to-one with potential students and maximise conversion to courses.
Managing all aspects of marketing activity including online and print advertising.
Develop relationships with nursing agencies, medical schools and agents.
Grow our current series of live USMLE and NCLEX preparation courses and take responsibility for meeting monthly revenue targets.
Provide on-going support and guidance to enrolled physicians and nurses about all aspects of their preparation and application process (training will be provided).
Requirements for the position:

Bachelor's degree.
2+ years marketing / sales / customer service work experience.
Ability and maturity to understand Medical and Nursing-candidate / customer needs.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly about, US Medical and Nursing Licensure process.
Experience of account management with excellent customer service skills.
Experience of working in a target-oriented environment.
Decision-making skills, creativity and initiative.
Strong teamwork and organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
Interest in working in a high-energy, fast-moving environment.
