Asset Management Surveyor

Description

To prepare, specify and supervise programmes of work for the cyclical maintenance, improvement and programmed repair of the

housing stock. To assist the Deputy Director of Operations Technical, in the delivery of annual programmes of works, under the

strategic partnering agreement. To carry out condition surveys of properties to update the stock condition information and to maintain the programme of renewals and improvements over a five year rolling programme. To use existing computer systems to assist the Deputy Director of Operations Technical to maintain stock survey records. To assist in the appointment, management and appraisal of consultants, employed from time to time. To instruct, liaise with and supervise partners employed by the Trust to undertake the work required under the Merlin Project. To ensure that service users (tenants and leaseholders) are fully consulted about proposed programmes of work and to be responsible for liaison throughout the works. To ensure compliance with statutory health and safety provision, and the safety policy generally. To ensure that sub-ordinate staff are supported and that their work is prioritised. To monitor and manage the progress of projects with a view to ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget. To assist in introducing and maintaining EGAN compliance
