Well established events catering company based in South London.

The company deals with high quality events and has a very good reputation in the market.

The Job

Senior Sous Chef to run the sauce section.

Working in a brigade of 10 chefs the job involves taking responsibility of the section, planning menus, dealing with clients from tasting through to working on the final event.

This position works closely with the head chef on creating menus and maintaining the high standards set by the company.

Hours vary week to week and will involve weekends and evenings - however you will not be expected to work every weekend.

The Candidate

The ideal applicant will have come from a fine dining background and wish to transfer skills to the event catering industry.

Candidates however will need to demonstrate an understanding of the different pressures of working in the events market and the a-la-carte.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate flair and creativity as they will be involved in developing new menus
