Description
Accounts receivable
Following up outstanding debts by telephone and letter where appropriate. Dealing with queries.
Office services
Assisting with matters relating to the maintenance of the offices
as necessary, including:
? Acting as first point of contact for staff in respect of their office needs/concerns
? Organising (including obtaining quotes for, where necessary) maintenance and repairs
? Organising occasional purchases of office furniture, fittings and equipment (including carpets)
? Organising health and safety checks of equipment as required (eg electrical equipment, fire extinguishers)
? Managing keys and alarm system
? Monitoring photocopier efficiency
? Maintaining recycling systems
General Finance Office assistance
Assisting with all aspects of finance work as required, including:
? Petty cash
? Writing and sending out cheques
? Maintaining asset records
? Banking
? Distribution of finance post, answering telephone, word processing, filing etc.
Human Resources
Administering annual leave and sick leave arrangements
GENERAL DUTIES:
Assisting as necessary with a variety of tasks at busy times or in the absence of colleagues. This will include some telephone reception work.
Being familiar with the work of other departments.
Working with colleagues to ensure a safe, secure and efficient working environment and to share skills with colleagues.
Undertaking such other tasks and duties as the Director of Finance and Resources may reasonably require.
Please note that the role is to wrk ideally 4 days a week and the working hours are flexible.
