Pharma company seek Director of Quality (QA)

Director of Quality (QA): My client is a specialist pharmaceutical manufacturer, with a strong tradition of producing APIs, based in Oxfordshire. They are currently looking for a Director of Quality.

The role involves management of the Quality Assurance department, including performance and budget management, which comprises 4 staff, acting as the main contact person for Quality for customer and regulatory authorities, preparing Quality agreements, leading the internal audit programme, providing GMP advice and having an overall responsibility for GMP training.

The successful candidate will have at least a BSc in Chemistry or a related subject, significant and proven experience in leading a Quality Management program, ideally with regards to APIs, including management of Quality Management Systems, and a strong track record in people management.
