Description
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse to move into a Senior Management post.
We are currently looking for a Deputy Head for a Children's Centre in Harrow to start for the Summer term.
You must have at least a Level 4 qualification and/or several years' experience at a managerial level in a Nursery to be considered for this post.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. To work with the Head in the support, supervision and development of the staff team.
2. To co-ordinate the Centre's training strategy, participating and instructing in training sessions as required.
3. To enable the quality and smooth running of the Early Years Foundation Curriculum and child care provision by overseeing the organisation of staff, SEN, policies and childcare standards in line with Ofsted recommendations.
4. To play an active part in the development and delivery of a wide range of early intervention and prevention services to children pre-natal to five and their families.
5. To monitor the placements and supervision of students in accordance with the centre policy.
6. To support the Centre staff in their work with children and their carers, ensuring partnership work at every level.
