Are you a digital guru? Do you have a passion for music? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join one of the major record labels as their Head of Digital.

Managing a team of four digital marketers ? my client urgently require an experienced candidate who could be currently a Senior Manager with immense digital savvy or a Head of Digital elsewhere.

You are the type of person who constantly immerses themselves in the digital market place keeping up to date with this constantly changing digital world. You will be a lover of blogs and online forums and have the ability to recognise which digital path would suit the individuality of our artists.

This role is not for the faint hearted ? and your responsibilities will include:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
My client is seeking an experienced and versatile digital marketer to head their UK digital team. He/she must be capable of planning strategy and delivering campaigns for some of the world's most successful recording artists as well as developing products, delivering high level CRM and overseeing digital operations/ecommerce.

The ideal candidate needn't have experience in the music industry, but must be customer focused, commercial and possess many of the following skills:

-High level experience in B2C digital marketing
-A proven track record in delivering CRM and managing data
-Advanced knowledge of SEO, SEM, display, viral and e-mail marketing
-Experience in delivering successful acquisition, insight, product and loyalty campaigns to varied demographics with robust ROI reporting
-A complete understanding of the digital production process (planning, IA, technical, QA, content creation, editorial, behaviour tracking, P & L)
-Strong project management skills with experience in work prioritisation, planning, influencing and working in cross-functional teams
-Knowledge of online marketing systems such as Silverpop and Omniture
-An understanding of current trends in behaviour and digital media consumption
-Experience managing a team
-A good digital media contacts book
-A passion for (and detailed knowledge of) music and popular culture
-Experience developing, publishing and retailing music and video content
-Experience in product design/sourcing
