Community Fundraising Manager

Description

Assisting the Head of Fundraising for this popular children's charitable organisation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a national community fundraising programme raising funds from a variety of community sectors including schools, groups, associations and individuals. You will also recruit, manage and support a network of fundraising volunteers. Essential requirements for this Community Fundraising Manager role include:

? Previous fundraising / charity experience, preferably within a managerial capacity
? Strong organisational skills
? IT literacy and database skills
? Competent letter writing ability
? Tact and diplomacy
? Warm, approachable personality

Key areas of responsibility within this Community Fundraising Manager position include:

? Developing networks of community support
? Recruiting, managing and maintaining a national network of fundraising volunteers
? Developing innovative fundraising projects / events
? Increasing the number of active donors on the database
? Establishing and developing relationships with donors to secure further donations and support
